Hello, my name is Barb Schwab and this is my 15th year teaching at SPX. I have a 7th grade homeroom. I teach 7th grade Social Studies, 7th grade Math, 8th grade Math and 8th grade Algebra 1. I love teaching our Junior High students! We have an amazing team of Junior High teachers! I have coached the Mathcounts team since I began teaching at SPX. This will be my first year helping coach the SPX Cross Country Team for grades K-3. I also create the costumes for the school musicals each year.

I grew up in Reynoldsburg and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School. I attended The Ohio State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Master of Education Degree in Integrated Mathematics for grades 7-12. Go Buckeyes!

My husband, Michael, and I have two boys. Our oldest is in first grade this year at SPX. We are parishioners at St. Pius X Church. We are big Buckeye, Blue Jackets, Reds, and Browns fans! We love spending time at the Columbus Zoo and COSI. We also love all things Disney!

I am beyond blessed to be part of St. Pius X School as a teacher and as a parent!
