Welcome!!!
I’m Penny Martinez, and I teach the Tu-Fri All Day class. I am so grateful to have your child in my class this year!
I have been teaching at St. Pius X Preschool since 1997, and have loved every moment here. Previously, I taught at Columbus Montessori Educational Center from ’94-‘95, and Countryside Childcare Center in Rhode Island from ’90-‘94, where my husband served in the Navy. Many changes have been made over the years, but educating young children and fostering their self- confidence has remained my passion. I believe children learn and grow through play, and my goal is to provide a nurturing environment for them to explore both socially and independently. I studied Montessori Education in 1994, and recently obtained my Child Development Associate through CSCC. My husband Mike and I grew up here in Reynoldsburg- Go Raiders! We have 2 daughters- Maddie, (who attended preschool here!) , and Lauren.
I can’t wait to spend this school year with you and your child!
