SPX Connect Newsletter for December 3, 2021

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mrs. Bridget Kilpatrick, one of our former kindergarten teachers. Mrs. Kilpatrick taught kindergarten for 20 years at SPX and made a positive impact on countless children during her 30 years in education. Please keep her daughters and grandchildren in your prayers. Friends will be received on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 4-7pm at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mrs. Kilpatrick’s obituary may be found using this link: https://www.schoedinger.com/obituaries/Bridget-Kilpatrick/#!/Obituary

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Because Wednesday’s Mass is a Holy Day of Obligation, we will invite all students to attend in person. Social distancing will not be possible, so if you are not comfortable with your child attending in person, please email an administrator by Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Students who do not attend in person will view another Mass in the school.

Donations for Staff Christmas Raffle

Because happy staff members create fun learning environments for students, we are planning to treat our incredibly dedicated staff to a Christmas Raffle during the week before break. We would love donations of new gifts or gift cards (that you might have, but aren’t planning to use), handmade items, or items from a home business.
