EMAIL ME

I was born in Dearborn, Michigan, the home of Henry Ford. After graduating from Livonia Stevenson High School, I attended Michigan State University where I received my degree in Studio Art in 1994. After a semester off in the "real" world, I returned to school for my degree in Art Education, K-12.
I got a job right out of college working in the Redford Union School District just outside of Detroit. It was a great experience for a new teacher, but when my wife got a job in Columbus, Ohio, I was ready to move on.
I've held a number of odd jobs in my life that include working at a bait shop, a deli, as an usher at the Nationwide Arena, as a host at a traditional Japanese restaurant, as a historical presenter at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, and as a rink attendant/concessionaire at an ice rink, just to name a few. I enjoy adding new challenges and experiences to my life's resume. I play hockey, bike, and ski, and, of course, I enjoy drawing.
I count my blessings everyday here at St. Pius. It's a wonderful school and I have such a fun time teaching and, in a lot of cases, learning from our students!
