Stacy Vega
Pre-K Teacher
My name is Stacy Vega and this is my first year at St. Pius X Preschool. I am teaching a Tues.-Fri. all day pre-k class. I have been a substitute teacher in Pickerington schools for the past 8 years. I am really excited to have my own classroom and make a lasting impact on my students.
My husband and I have three children. Our oldest daughter just started her first year teaching in South Carolina. Our younger daughter is a student at Ohio Northern University, and our son is a junior at Pickerington Central. My husband served in the U.S. Army, and we lived and traveled to many places around the world. We have lived in Pickerington for 16 years. We love to travel as a family and go someplace new every year. We also love to watch movies and football ( go Browns!), and try new restaurants.
My family loves animals. We've had pet birds, a lizard, turtle, fish, hamsters, hedgehogs, and goats. We live on a tiny farm and currently have chickens and turkeys, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. We have a 3-legged cat and another cat with only one eye!
I am so excited for this school year and am looking forward to learning and growing my faith alongside your children!
